On 26th of October, in the framework of the IoT Solutions World Congress, the 1st edition of Imagine IoT was presented. This creativity program identifies problem areas of a business or social nature and proposes disruptive solutions from the area of Internet of Things.
The project has been developed through the consortium between Imagine, EADA Business School, ELISAVA School of Design and Engineering, and Barcelona School of Telecommunications Engineering (ETSETB) and Barcelona School of Informatics (FIB) of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). It will last 4 months, and the participants will earn university credits. 4 teams are taking part in the programme, which are made up of 5 dreamers of different ages and nationalities, all of whom are students or former students of the schools and universities that are participating (business, design and technology) in the programme and employees of the collaborating companies. The dreamers face a social or business challenge which needs to be solved with an IoT product or service that involves a high global impact.
